All the flavors of banoffee pie, ready and waiting in the fridge. Creamy banana oats are topped with a peanut butter caramel and pan-fried cinnamon bananas, then finished with a little chocolate. It's a cozy autumn breakfast that tastes like dessert.
Steps
Microwave the oats, mashed banana, water, and flax or chia seeds for 2 minutes and 30 seconds.
Stir in the yogurt, protein powder, and cinnamon. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
In the morning, stir together the peanut butter, maple syrup, and a splash of milk to make the caramel. Spread it over the oats.
Slice half a banana lengthwise. Heat 1 teaspoon of oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat with a sprinkle of cinnamon and a drizzle of maple syrup. Add the banana and cook until golden brown on both sides.
Lay the banana on top of the oats, add a spoonful of yogurt and some chocolate shavings, and enjoy!
